One of the favorite and popular zone of Jim Corbett National Park, has the presence of numerous flora and fauna. The entry gate of Bijrani Zone is Aamdanda Gate and is situated close to Kosi River.
Having the lush greenery and exotic geography the ride through this zone is thrilling and exciting for every wildlife enthusiasts. The major attraction of this zone is chaurs, where the popular ones are Machaan chaurs, Badhai chaur and Ringora Chaura. And with exquisite greenery, the zone offers the sight to several beautiful birds.
The zone constitutes of mostly dry topography, and the trail through thestreams and water holes is interesting to glance at. However, the two popular forest rest houses of the zone are Mailani Forest Rest house and Bijrani Forest Rest house, where the facility of night stay predominates inside the national park. An optimal choice for adventure freaks, as the stay inside the jungle imbibes one of a kind experience.

How to book bijrani zone safari-
Bijrani is one of the oldest zone of Jim Corbett National Park, which remain open from 15 of October to 30th of June and for remaining time it gets closed because of monsoon season. Visitor can book their safari at least 30 days prior in advance for confirmation; safaris held in Bijrani Zone at two time slot one in morning and in evening, only 30 jeeps are permitted to enter the safari zone in each time slot.
Open & Close Time-
The Bijrani zone is open from October 15 till June 30; after that, the bijrani zone is closed due to the monsoon season.
How to reach Bijrani zone:
The entry gate of Bijrani zone known as ‘’ Aamdanda Gate’’, which is 2 km away from the ramnagar city. Only government authorized gypsy are allowed to enter the forest area at the Bijrani zone.
Bijrani Zone FRH--
One of Jim Corbett's primary and main area is Bijrani, which also offers the option of spending the night inside the forest. There are two distinct forest rest houses called Bijrani and Mailani in the Bijrani zone forest. These two forest rest houses are available inside the bijirani forest area for night stay.
Only through the government's official website can you book a night inside the forest; only then may you enter the forest. The two FRH in Bijrani, known as Bijrani and Mailani, are served by this Corbett National Park. You can spend the night at either Bijrani FRH or Mailani Rest House. Bijrani FRH contains a total of 6 rooms, including 2 single rooms, 1 dormitory with 4 beds, and 4 double rooms. Pre-booking from the official government website should be required for night stays, 30 days in advance for any FRH.
