The Pawalgarh Conversation Reserve, which includes the Sitabani Forest Area, just unveiled its official website. There are two different entrances to the Sitabani Reserve Forest, called the Tedha Gate and the Pawalgarh Gate, respectively; through which visitors can access the Sitabani zone's forest and engage in a Sitabani jungle jeep safari. Jeeps are restricted at both gates, and government authorised guides are required for the safari. The Pawalgarh Forest Conservation Area includes Sitabani, and the number of jeeps that are permitted and also limited for this zone are 60 from each entry gate in each time slot, regardless the safari duration is up to 3 hours.
The magnifying river Dhabka, which is a crucial component of the harvesting in Sitabani forest, can also be seen inside the Sitabani Zone forest. Until, Sitabani Zone permit reservations were made at the zone's entrance gate. However, Sitabani Zone permit reservations can be made directly on the Pawalgarh Conservation Reserve website. You can only enter into the gate by the governement authorised gypsy. The Royal Bengal Tiger, Tuskers, many types of deer (Hog, Barking, Spotted, Sambar), and birds like red jungle fowl and certain endangered species of birds can all be observed inside the forest, which has a total area of about 58 sq. km.
